Gallstones (गॉलस्टोन्स) are hardened deposits that form in the gallbladder (पित्ताशय), a pear-shaped organ responsible for storing bile (बाइल) produced by the liver (जिगर). Bile is essential for digesting fats in the small intestine (आधारीत आतडे). Gallstones can vary in size, from small grains of sand to larger formations the size of a golf ball.

Causes of Gallstones:
Gastritis refers to the inflammation or swelling of the stomach lining (पोटाच्या आतील आवरण). It can be either acute, lasting a short duration, or chronic, persisting over an extended period.
Acid reflux occurs when stomach acid (पोटाचे आम्ल) flows back into the esophagus (अन्ननलिका). This condition can irritate and inflame the esophageal lining, causing symptoms such as heartburn (हृदयाची जळजळ), regurgitation (पुनरागमन), and chest discomfort (छातीमध्ये अस्वस्थता). Contributing factors include obesity (लठ्ठपणा), smoking (धूम्रपान), specific foods, hiatal hernia (हायटेल हर्निया), and pregnancy (गर्भधारणा).
Acidity is an imbalance in the stomach's pH levels, leading to excessive acid production. While some acidity is necessary for digestion, an overload can result in discomfort and complications. Factors like acidic foods, irregular eating patterns, stress (ताण), alcohol (मद्यपान), smoking, and certain medications can increase acidity.

Gastritis can stem from bacterial infections (जीवाणूंची संक्रमण), heavy alcohol consumption, excessive use of NSAIDs (NSAIDs) or corticosteroids (कॉर्टिकोस्टेरॉइड्स), autoimmune disorders, bile reflux (बाईल पुनरागमन), and stress.
Contributing factors for acid reflux include obesity, smoking, pregnancy, certain foods (spicy, fatty, acidic), hiatal hernia, and medications like calcium channel blockers or nitrates.
Increased acidity in the stomach can result from spicy or acidic foods, excessive intake of alcohol or caffeine, irregular meal timings, stress, smoking, and some medications like NSAIDs.

Common symptoms of gastritis include abdominal pain (पोटदुखी), nausea (उलटीची भावना), vomiting (उलटी), bloating (फुगणे), loss of appetite (आहाराची कमी), and indigestion (पचनाच्या समस्या). Severe cases may involve blood in vomit or stools.
Symptoms associated with acid reflux encompass heartburn, difficulty swallowing (गिळण्यास अडचण), chest pain, and a persistent cough or hoarseness (काँठात खवखव).
Signs of acidity include a burning sensation in the stomach or chest (heartburn), bloating, belching (डोक्यात फुगणे), nausea, a sour taste in the mouth (तोंडात आम्ल चव), and occasionally throat irritation or coughing.
Prevention Of Gastritis, आम्ल पुनरागमन, and acidity
Maintain a healthy diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins while limiting spicy, fatty, or acidic foods that can trigger acidity and reflux.
Ensure adequate hydration throughout the day to support proper digestion and prevent dehydration, which can worsen gastritis and acidity.
Identify and avoid foods, beverages, or activities that aggravate symptoms, such as alcohol, smoking, caffeine, and stress.
Opt for smaller, more frequent meals instead of large, heavy meals to alleviate the workload on the stomach and reduce acid reflux incidents.
